Acceptable Use Policy

Rules, restrictions, and responsibilities governing lawful and responsible use of the Optiviera platform and APIs.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs access to and use of the Optiviera platform, APIs, infrastructure, and related services. All users must comply. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all users, including free trial users, paid subscribers, enterprise customers, administrators, API consumers, developers, and end users.
2. General Usage Requirements
Users may access and use the Services only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate purposes. Users must not:
- Misuse the Services or interfere with platform operations
- Compromise platform security or attempt unauthorized access
- Abuse infrastructure resources or violate laws or regulations
- Disrupt other users or engage in fraudulent activity
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
3. Prohibited Uses
Security Violations
- Unauthorized access attempts
- Vulnerability exploitation
- Introducing malware or backdoors
- Credential theft or phishing
Illegal Activities
- Processing prohibited data
- Money laundering or fraud
- Sanctions violations
- Intellectual property infringement
Platform Abuse
- Resource exhaustion attacks
- Spam or bulk unsolicited messaging
- False identity creation
- Reverse engineering the platform
4. API Usage Requirements
- Use official API credentials and access tokens only
- Respect rate limits and usage thresholds
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the platform
- Report discovered vulnerabilities responsibly to [email protected]
- Do not use automated tools to scrape or mass-harvest data
5. Data Responsibilities
Users are responsible for ensuring that data uploaded to or processed through the Services complies with applicable laws, does not infringe third-party rights, and does not contain prohibited content. Users must not upload personal data without appropriate legal basis.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this Policy may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, API throttling, account suspension, termination, removal of content, legal escalation, or reporting to competent authorities. Optiviera reserves the right to take enforcement action at its discretion.
